Drink Beer & Help Build a School

This Sunday, May 15, we will host the 2nd Annual Menot-Ö-Fest. Yep, that's right - last year's fest was such a success we decided to do it again. This year Menot-Ö-Fest is benefiting the Genesis Network and their In addition, our goal is not only fully fund the building of this school but to completely furnish the facility, providing them with textbooks, desks, supplies, and a computer. We can't do this without your help!

How can you help? First, plan to come out this Sunday. It is going to be a great day of community, beer and great food from the Meat House Arlington. The following breweries have signed on: Shipyard, Woodchuck, Long Trail, Otter Creek, Wolavers, Narragansett, Pretty Things, Victory, The People's Pint, Haverhill Brewery, Harpoon, Gearys, Troegs, Fisherman's, Sam Adams, High & Mighty, Mayflower, Sierra Nevada, Innis & Gunn, Ithaca Brewing, Dogfish Head, Goose Island, Dark Horse, 21st Amendment & Widmer!

Next, once you are there - admission is free - think about spending a few dollars on a glass ($3 recommended donation) or tshirt ($5 recommended donation) or buying a raffle ticket. A few of the items being raffled are an HDTV donated by August Busch & Co., a limited edition framed print of the Dogfish Head Pumpkin Ale label signed by the artist (only 80 copies exist),Sierra Nevada Hammock, Long Trail Golf Bag, and many items we don't even know about yet!!!!!

And if tasting all that beer and having a chance to win the above raffle items isn't enough to get you there - maybe knowing that we are raffling off a bottle of Utopias. Did your eyes just light up? That's right, we are raffling off a Jim Koch signed bottle of Samuel Adams Utopias. If you are a craft beer connoisseur, you are familiar with Utopias, if you aren't you can click here to learn more about this beautiful, labor of love of a brew - a labor of love that retails at $240 or more. Plus - this bottle is signed by Samuel Adams Brewery owner, Jim Koch making its value even greater! Raffle tickets are just $10 and can be purchased via our Facebook page or at Menotomy now.

Along with the raffle, the other piece of Menot-Ö-Fest fundraising that has already kicked off is the Menotomy 100. We are seeking out 100 folks to donate a minimum of $50.
